Bright young minds from Rhodes visit Saratoga

Earlier this year Saratoga really enjoyed hosting the Computer Science Honours class from Rhodes University for an industry visit. The class traveled to Cape Town to come visit various organisations, the first of which was Saratoga.

We started the morning off with an ice breaker that saw Rhodes students, their lecturer and Saratoga staff playing a game of ‘have you ever’. The Saratoga staff put in great effort to try make it a memorable experience for the students. Our technical experts challenged the students with some coding activities and development questions. We also gave the students Rubik cubes to solve in a set period of time and this proved to be a fun challenge.

A cupcake and coffee break gave the students a chance to connect with some of the Saratoga staff. After the sugar rush two of our previous graduates shared their experiences at Saratoga with the students – definitely a valuable interaction.

We enjoyed connecting with these bright young minds, and really appreciated the visit from Rhodes.
