Saratoga signs on as a Silver Sponsor for Business Analysis Summit 2016

Saratoga has signed on as the first sponsor of Business Analysis Summit 2016.

“We are excited to have Saratoga as a sponsor at this year’s conference given their involvement with the chapter over the past few years” says Lucy Davies, Head of Operations for IIBA-SA. She elaborates that Saratoga has been involved with providing volunteers, speakers for events as well as board representation.

According to Mohamed Bray, Engagements and Practice Manager at Saratoga, “BA Summit 2016 is the premier event on the Business Analysis calendar and as a leading Business Analysis consulting firm in South Africa, we see this summit as a way for sharing our insights with a broader community of like-minded professionals, helping the profession to grow and establishing Business Analysis as a recognised and valued career.”

Mohamed will also be presenting one of the keynote presentations entitled, ‘Business Analysis is for the ambitious’ where he challenges the current status quo that exists in the industry in order to push the practice of Business Analysis forward.  His keynote will be the opening keynote of the conference and is sure to set the scene for a high quality line-up. This marks the first time that a South African Business Analyst has been named as a keynote at the summit.

Saratoga is also represented at the conference by business consultant Inga Davids.  She is a first-time speaker who was selected from a large number of submissions to present.  Inga’s presentation titled ‘The Fundamentals of the Millennial BA – Recruiting and Growing the 21st Century BA’ will provide a unique perspective on millennials entering the workforce.  “With Saratoga heavily invested in graduate recruitment and the growth of career BA’s from the ground up, this topic is one that we truly believe in” says Bray.

As a sponsor Saratoga will be running a set of lightning talks in a new track at the conference.  Details of this will be posted closer to the conference date.  This new track brings a new format to the conference based on feedback received at previous events.
